Is busy the same as productive?

Is being busy the same as being productive?

A few weeks ago I came to the conclusion that being busy does not necessarily mean being productive. We must not confuse movement with progress; that is the key. Imagine a runner who only runs in circles on the track: he will never advance. On the other hand, a person who plans his path, seeks improvements and trains to constantly advance is destined to excel.

The key is to plan, to know what your next step will be and to be clear about what you want. I understand that these are not simple questions, but answering them will make you feel fulfilled and enjoy your race.
